The Golden Boot is a family-run shoe shop located in Maidstone, Kent, England. Established in 1790, the company has been owned by the same family for six generations and today is run by a father and son team, Edward and Lawrence Martin. The shop has occupied three sites: the original site was at 36 Gabriels Hill. It moved opposite in 1845 and then following a disastrous fire, the shop moved into newly built premises that it continues to run today. It opened workshops in 1845 in Palace Yard where 20 men were employed who made half the stock for the shop. A large Golden Wellington measuring over 6 ft was put up outside the shop in the late 19th century and remains there to this day. Now the Golden Boot has three departments selling ladies, men's and children's shoes and leather goods. ==Awards== The Golden Boot shoe shop is the winner of awards from Drapers Footwear for 2006 and 2010 and Family Footwear Retailer of the Year 2008. http://www.drapersfootwearawards.co.uk/ http://www.drapersfootwearawards.co.uk/prev-winner.htm 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Golden Boot」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
